Today i will continue on another part of workshop tools
Marking and Measuring Tools (Woodwork):
Pencil: The pencil makes two specific types of lines: orientation marks (E.g. face side and face edge) and cutting guidelines.
Marking Knife: It is used together with a Try Square to make cut lines across the grain.Marking Gauge: It is used for marking lines parallel to the edges of a wooden piece
Try Square: marking out lines square to the face-side or face-edge.
Mitre Square: It is used for marking and checking an angle of 45 degrees



Sliding bevel: It is used for marking and checking any angle from 0 to 180 degrees.
Pencil Compass: It is used to mark circles or arcs on the wood/plastic workpiece.

Template: It is used to mark out workpieces of the same shapes and size quickly and accurately.
